ASUU Is On Strike, Actress, Hilda Dokubo Knocks Minister As FG Directs Students From Ukraine To Register

Actress, Hilda Dokubo, has dissed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, over the directive of his ministry to Nigerian students who returned from troubled Ukraine.

The Foreign Affairs ministry had on Monday revealed its plan to find placement for the Ukraine-based students who are interested in completing their studies in Nigerian universities.

Reacting to the press statement, the veteran actress said, “A whole minister of foreign affairs does not know that ASUU has been on strike for four months. He’s asking students who came back from Ukraine as a result of the Russia-Ukraine war to come and register be 15th July, so they can be absorbed. Which Nigerian university nau? They are on strike.”
