A video showing Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu celebrating ahead of the announcement of the result of the governorship election in Lagos has surfaced online.
In the video posted by Festus Keyamo at 12.33 am, the governor was singing and dancing signifying that he had probably been re-elected as Lagos State governor, although the Independent National Electoral Commission is yet to formally announce the results of the governorship poll held on Saturday.
To further show that the governor might be well ahead of his opponents in the election, Femi Fan-Kayode, tweeeted, “We have shown them that Lagos is not a no man’s land.”
He said, “Those that believed that Lagos is a “no man’s land” have been roundly defeated, badly humiliated and finally taught the lesson of their lives by voters today in a peaceful, free and fair election.
