Mrs. Ifeoma Ada Kalu, the wife of Senate Chief Whip Orji Uzor Kalu, has passed away.
Although the reason for her passing remains unknown at this time, it has been reported that Senator Kalu’s wife passed away while residing in the United States of America.
Senator Kalu shared the news of her passing via his verified Facebook page, revealing that she was 61 years old at the time of her death.
In his announcement, the former Governor of Abia State paid tribute to his beloved wife, describing her as a virtuous woman who dedicated her life to serving God and making a difference in the lives of others.
Kalu in the statement, said: “A memorial service in her honour is scheduled to hold in the United States of America (USA).
“With a heavy heart and pain, we announce the passing on to eternal glory of Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu aged 61 years.
“She was a woman of virtue who was committed to the service of God and humanity.
“A memorial service in her honour is scheduled to hold in the United States of America (USA).
“Please remember her and loved ones in prayers at this difficult period.
“May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
