The Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday lifted the suspension banged on Suleiman Jelili, the Executive Chairman of the Alimosho local government council, Worldtopnewsng reports.
Jelili and two of his colleagues, Tajudeen Ajide of Surulere local government area and Ogidan Mukandasi Olaitan of the Lekki LCDA, were suspended on May 4, 2021, over alleged disregard for the guidelines governing their activities.
May 18, 2021, the Speaker of the House and other members anonymously voted to lift Ajide’s suspension after the council boss wrote an apology letter to the House.
Our correspondent gathered that immediately after the suspension was lifted, full activities resume at the council.
Meanwhile, Jelili and other All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship aspirants will fight for the party ticket on Saturday, May 29, 2021.
