The Lagos State government has asked volunteers to donate blood for victims of the train/bus accident that happened on Wednesday.
The SSA to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on New Media, Jubril Gawat, and the Lagos state blood transfusion committee said blood could be donated at the following sites:
1. Gbagada general hospital
2. Lagos state Accident and Emergency Centre toll gate.
3. General Hospital Lagos Island
4. Folarin Coker Staff Clinic Alausa Ikeja
5. LASUTH
Many casualties were recorded as a moving train rammed into a Lagos State Government bus at the PWD bus stop in the Ikeja area on Thursday morning.
So far, three people have been confirmed dead while over 80 people are rescued in the accident.
