In a bid to foster mutual relationship, understanding and unwavering support, the Medical Director/CEO, General Hospital, Ijede, Dr. Abimbola Sunday Okudero recently led some members of the management team to the office of the Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) Prof. Olumuyiwa Omotola Odusanya
Expressing his heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception by the institution, Dr. Okudero informed that the essence of the visit was to seek more support from the management of the university in conducting free medical outreach in the school environment in commemoration of Year 2023 World Health Day.
He informed that exercises such as free cervical cancer screening, free blood donation drive and free breast cancer screening among others will continue to be conducted in the University to screen, sensitise and keep students and staff abreast of the essence of the days.
“We have been coming to conduct free medical exercises in this citadel of learning for a while now and we are glad that it is well appreciated. We will not relent in this as it will go a long way in reducing diseases in our society”, he said.
The Vice -Chancellor, Lagos State University of Science and Technology, (LASUSTECH), Prof. Olumuyiwa Omotola Odusanya on behalf of his team promised to give maximum support to the hospital whenever the need arises.
