The Commander of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi this afternoon decorated 12 police officers, 3 of which were recently confirmed and 8 recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police.
Decorating the officers today, the Commander RRS, supported by his 2nd in command, admonished them to be of good character and discharge their duties with all dedication and sense of duty.
“There is a need to understand the dynamism of 21st century policing in a mega city such as Lagos State.
The onus is on senior police officers like you to take up that responsibility of discharging your duties according to the ethics of the Police Act, within the confines of the laws of the land and with a human face and respect for human rights as well as regards for lives and property, which we all swore an oath to protect”, Egbeyemi charged.
The men appreciated the commander for his astounding leadership role and promise to act accordingly and not stray from the true practice of professional policemen.
