Oyerinde spoke on Saturday while coordinating the evacuation of refuse at Martins Street by Fred Macween St. junction, Lagos Island.

He noted that in line with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led administration’s T.H.E.M.E.S. Agenda for a Cleaner Lagos, CBD has made adequate preparation in conjunction with LAWMA to regularly evacuate refuse within the Lagos Island at night.

He further disclosed that Tom Jones junction/Alli Balogun to Martins Street now have a dedicated truck for night and day evacuation of refuse.

While commending the prompt response of LAWMA in evacuating huge refuse dumped at Martins Street, the Special Adviser called on residents and business owners within the Lagos Island Business District to desist from indiscriminate dumping of waste on roads and setbacks.

He appealed to citizens to desist from acts that are inimical to achieving the Cleaner Lagos vision by bagging their waste properly and patronising only registered and assigned PSP operators in their domain.
